Effective Date: 01 July 2025

This Talent Agreement Policy (“Agreement”) outlines the terms under which YouthTheAgency (“we,” “our,” or “the Agency”) engages with individuals (“Talent,” “you,” or “your”) for the purposes of representation, bookings, and promotional services. By accepting representation through YouthTheAgency, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this policy.


1. Eligibility

To be considered for representation by YouthTheAgency, talent must:

  • Be aged 18–35 years (exceptions may apply at our discretion).
  • Submit accurate and complete application materials.
  • Be based in South Africa or available for regional opportunities.
  • Agree to this Talent Agreement and any supplemental terms.

2. Application and Vetting Process

All talent submissions are reviewed by our internal vetting team. You agree to provide:

  • Updated headshots and/or media content.
  • A full talent profile including measurements, skills, and languages.
  • Relevant documents such as ID or passport, and any previous work (if applicable).

YouthTheAgency reserves the right to accept or decline representation at its sole discretion.


3. Representation Scope

If accepted, YouthTheAgency agrees to:

  • Promote your profile through our platforms and client networks.
  • Submit you for auditions, castings, campaigns, and other suitable opportunities.
  • Provide basic support and guidance to help you navigate the industry.

Representation is non-exclusive unless otherwise agreed in writing.


4. Talent Obligations

As talent represented by YouthTheAgency, you agree to:

  • Keep your profile up to date with current photos, information, and availability.
  • Respond promptly to agency communications.
  • Attend bookings, auditions, or castings professionally and punctually.
  • Maintain a respectful and cooperative attitude with clients and agency staff.
  • Inform the Agency of any changes to your availability or status.

5. Fees and Commission

YouthTheAgency will receive a commission for all paid bookings secured through the agency. Commission rates will be specified in the Booking Confirmation Form or individual agreement. Any income received independently must be disclosed if facilitated by Agency introductions or materials.


6. Media and Portfolio Usage

You grant YouthTheAgency the right to:

  • Use your submitted photos, videos, and portfolio materials for promotional purposes on the Agency’s website, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Share your materials with potential clients and collaborators.

You retain ownership of your content, but grant YouthTheAgency a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for these purposes.


7. Confidentiality

All client details, project briefs, and booking information must be kept confidential. Talent must not disclose confidential information to third parties without prior written consent.


8. Termination

This agreement may be terminated:

  • By either party with 14 days’ written notice.
  • Immediately by YouthTheAgency for misconduct, breach of agreement, or unprofessional behavior.

Upon termination, all bookings, obligations, and commissions earned prior to termination will be honored.


9. Disclaimer

YouthTheAgency does not guarantee any specific number or type of bookings. Representation does not imply endorsement or employment. All opportunities are subject to client needs and talent suitability.


10. Amendments

This Talent Agreement may be updated from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued representation constitutes acceptance of revised terms.


11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in South African courts.
